Lake and River Kayaking

Just 2 miles west of our shop location in Wilmot Flat are a series of ponds and lakes.. They are located just 2 miles from Colby Sawyer College and 6 miles from Proctor Academy.  Rental includes mini lesson to get started on the right foot. Swim at beautiful Blueberry Island. 

  Call us to reserve boat, then we will meet at the Boat Landing in Elkins at 2:15 pm.   Paddlers can exit at any arranged time before 5:00 pm. Groups can also arrange mornings rental drop offs at any other day of the week. Call us! 

$40.00	Includes rental, paddles and life vest and mini lesson.Double Kayak: $ 60 for two.
Ages 9-16 yrs $25	Call to reserve space: 603-381-8685. Adult must accompany children under 14 years.

 Blackwater River Tours: WEDNESDAYS AND THURSDAYS:  Guided River Tours 2:15 pm- 5:00 pm
Join our popular kayak tour, introducing you to this great sport. We demonstrate safety procedures, discuss equipment variables, and practice paddle strokes. Enjoy a great swim on a sandy beach site.  We discuss history of the area and guides will help identify plant and animal habitats while we paddle. This is a very relaxing tour in quiet water -- and can be an active spot to see beaver, otter, blue heron, kingfisher, and water turtles. See the River Tour Gallery for photos of this guided tour.
